and Phenom Features present "An Evening with Terry O'Quinn - Benefit for Using". Come celebrate and raise funds for the production of the upcoming independent motion picture Using with writer and director, Thomas Quinn, the cast of the film as well as special guest actor Terry O'Quinn, recent Emmy nominee and character John Locke from Lost.
The event will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Park
West (322 West Armitage) from 8:00
pm -11:00 p.m. and will feature a vip red carpet entrance, hors d'oeuvres from Phil Stefani Catering, cocktails, a live performance by Aubyn Beth, bid on silent auction items such as tickets to The Emmy Awards, tickets to The Grammy Awards, tickets to Dancing with the Stars, tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman, tickets to the Pritzker Pavilion Grant Park Symphony & Chorus, dinner for two at Bonsoiree Restaurant, as well as vacations to tropical islands such as Spice Island Beach Resort, Grenada, Harbour Village, Bonaire and Nisbet Plantation, Nevis.
VIP ticket holders will also mingle and have their photos taken with actor Terry O'Quinn; writer and director of Using, Thomas Quinn; producer, Kymberly Harris and cast members of the film Elizabeth Schwartzrock-Gwen, Christopher J. This is a benefit to raise money for Phenom Features pilot project, the film Using, a feature-length drama about loving deception and a father's desperate fight to save his only daughter from self-destruction.
The original screenplay is written by Illinois Wesleyan University professor Thomas Anthony Quinn. Kymberly Harris Fresh Bread Productions is producing the film. Harris is also acting in Using. Harris is the Artistic Director of Fresh Bread Productions, a 501(c)(3) non-profit company.
Using is a cautionary tale of addiction, betrayal and unlikely redemption, which asks the impossible question, "How far would you go to save a dying child?"
A portion of the proceeds from the film will go to Salvation Army Safe Harbor Shelters. The evening will feature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment silent auction and a selected clips of the film.

Tickets are $250 VIP, $125 general admission, and $50 student/industry rate with I.D. Any guests who purchase a student/industry ticket will be asked to show SAG, AFTRA, AEA, DGA, or STUDENT ID at check-in upon arrival.

About Phenom Features
Phenom Feaures is a non for profit company in central IL and is creating a full-length, independent motion picture featuring talented students and aspiring screen artists in Bloomington and Central Illinois, working side-by-side with movie-making professionals.
The mission of Phenom Features is to bring the creative adventure of independent digital filmmaking to our area, and to serve our community by creating socially relevant movies. At the heart of Phenom Features' mission is the bold vision of an apprenticeship studio – a place where gifted creative artists, young and old, can learn, discover and grow.
The four business goals of Phenom Features are:
to teach by providing unique and challenging apprenticeship experience;
to show by sharing filmmaking with local, regional, national and international audiences;
to grow by enhancing regional artistic resources and opportunities, while contributing to the economic development of our community;
to help by broadening public awareness of service organizations in our area that provide drug and alcohol education and substance abuse counseling, and raise funds for these organizations through a series of charity screenings of the finished movie at theatres throughout central Illinois.
About Fresh Bread Productions
Fresh Bread Productions, a 501(c)(3) non-profit company. An Actors Studio Drama School grad herself, Harris’ Fresh Bread Productions started with an ensemble of MFA graduates of the Actors Studio, NYC.
The company staged Savage
In Limbo at the Producers’ Club, sponsored by Bravo Television and
Cablevision, as well as Rant performed
at the Public Theatre and The Cherry Lane Theatre, which benefited Safe Horizon
Battered Women Shelters. Kymberly’s original play, Bumping Umbrellas was performed at Don't Tell Mama and the
42nd Street Theatre. They staged and produced various productions in NYC
including Savage in Limbo, Rant and Bumping Umbrellas. With a double MFA in Playwriting
and Acting, and after having had several plays produced in NYC , Harris is now working out
of Chicago.
A professional playwright/award winning actress, she has also
founded TheatresCool, a professional acting school
in Bloomington, IL. Her teaching is focused on method acting -
Bloomington the only place in Central, IL that offers this. Read more about her companies and

production of her play Faith at TheatresCool, which sold out
every night and was very successful and is an amazing play. Before that, it
received a reading at the Broadway Theatre Institute,
with two time Emmy award winning Cady McClain in the lead. A documentary
film crew came out to film the process of building the workshop. Kymberly is also on IMDB
